A great addition to the Matchbox range was the Opel Speedster, the model was originally launched in 2003, so has been around for a few years, but had a break from 2010 to 2013, her we have the only two i have loose, a nice red and and not so nice, slime green, both with the ten spoke double wheels, I like these wheels, they suit many sports cars, and look exceptional on these two European sports cars.
Based on a Lotus Elise, and produced at the Lotus, Hethel Factory, the Speedster, or Vauxhall VX220 as it was known in the UK, was not the best seller, fewer than 10,000 were made, but i suspect more than that were made in this small scale.
