The Ford Zephyr is not, by any standards a small car, in fact it is huge, with the most minimilist interior on any large car I have ever seen, that said, Vanguards has re-produced a very good casting, from the inverted grill to the mini fins at the rear, the UK never really was into massive fins, not like the Cadillacs from the USA, this model, VA54000, was the launch model, and it was great to have a police version launched first.
This car has the usual jewelled headlights and working suspension, and looks great in black with white doors, and the roof mounted police box (no, not the TARDIS), the real car was used extensively in many police forces across the country and was famously used in the TV Police drama Z-Cars. Fords are not really my cup of tea, however this one is probably one of the better Fords, with only the Cortina MK1 and Escort MK3 beating it.
